Napoleon Stone produces several types of natural landscape stone steps/ step treads that allow you to create beautiful transitions between rises in any landscape. Napoleon Stone’s sawn steps and slabs are buff/tan colored pieces of sandstone. Our sawn steps are often used to provide access to doorways or up short slopes where specific dimensions for the stone steps are required. Used in conjunction with our outcropping stone, all of the sawn stone steps and slabs we quarry can transform the look and feel of your landscape for years to come. We quarry and fabricate all our sawn steps and slabs and they all have consistent thicknesses to ensure comfortable and safe walking conditions.

The steps are snapped on all up to 3 sides with a sawn top/bottom/back. Typical sizes of the steps we stock are as follows:

- 3 foot long x 18″ or 24″ deep x 6″ thick
- 4 foot long x 18″ or 24″ deep x 6″ thick

All of our steps are sold by the square foot. If you have a custom project requiring sizes outside of what we stock, we are happy to accommodate your request.

Our sawn slabs range in length from 3-8 feet and feature a weathered edge (face) which brings a natural look to your landscape. The uniform thickness of our sawn slabs provides a crisp look to every project and allows you the homeowner to have confidence that the material will allow you to achieve the ultimate look you desire. We typically stock sawn slabs at 3″ and 6″ thicknesses but are able to easily customize to accommodate your specific project requirements.
