Bluestone is one of the most popular and versatile types of natural stone and offers rich and interesting textures that add to the visual appeal of the stone while also being very practical and functional. Bluestone stands up over time and can also be ordered custom cut for hearths, step treads, pool copings and counter tops.

Napoleon Stone stocks and distributes Pennsylvania bluestone products, primarily what we call “Stand Up Bluestone” which is large irregular shaped pieces of bluestone often up to 6 feet long. This materials has very constant thickness and makes beautiful patios and walkways. We also break down the Stand Up Bluestone in what we call “Bluestone Steppers” which as the same material but broken down into smaller pieces, usually less than 3 feet long.

In addition, Napoleon Stone also offers cut and finished bluestone products on a “made to order” basis. We do not stock it at our facility, but rather place orders as needed.

Irregular / Stand Up Bluestone – long sheets of bluestone with lengths up to 3′ and thicknesses from 1″ up to 1.75″ / colors available include blue-blue bluestone / full color bluestone and lilac bluestone.

Bluestone Pavers - sawn bluestone pavers available in a variety of colors, dimensions (12″x12″ up to 36″x30″) and finishes.

Bluestone Pool Coping – sawn bluestone coping available in variety of colors, dimensions and finishes (bullnose edge/sawn/rock-face/split).
